This article is about the sacred numbers used in Buddhism. Each nation and religion has its own interpretation of the meaning of numbers. Even in ancient times, people gave numbers a mystical meaning. Both in Buddhism and in other religions, people associate their thoughts and feelings, emotions, fears, desires and hopes with numbers. Man cognizes the world and himself through numbers. The numbers are still a benchmark for many people.
